Shadows resin incense for your Shadow Work spells and rituals. Handcrafted by me using a mystical resins, styrax, herbs and essential oils. Use it to get into the right mindset, specially of you are a light worker, it may be difficult for you to slip into your darker self to perform the necessary shadow work. The scent is deep, mysterious and everything a shadowy incense should be. A little goes a long way!

Comes in a SAMPLE SIZE plastic jar with .2 oz of loose incense inside. Completely natural incense witch crafted specifically for creating a magical space for your mystical shadowy rituals. Please use a spoon for applying to the hot charcoal as it contains Cinnamon essential oil and it can be a skin irritant.

How to burn your magical Resin Incense blends: You will need: -- Your Resin, Herb or powder incense. -- Charcoal Discs: you can get a roll of Swift-Lite discs on the website. -- A bowl, urn or burner: almost anything that can withstand heat. I recommend adding sand to a bowl to help absorb heat. Ornate traditional incense burners in metal (on the website) are also recommended. Charcoal Tongs, so you don't burn your fingers. -- A lighter or matches: to start the self-igniting charcoal. A match is best.

1. Light the charcoal and place it in your burner. Never hold the charcoal with your fingers - always use tongs or even large tweezers. Apply flame to the side of the charcoal for about 20 seconds. The charcoal will then self-ignite across the surface and spark lightly. Charcoals do not usually light easily if they are laying flat on some surface or in a bowl. It is best to hold the charcoal in the air, over a sink (in case it falls), with a tool when applying the flame to the charcoal.
2. After laying the hot coal in your burner, wait for the charcoal to start to turn white. This usually takes about 3 minutes.
3. Add resins, herbs or powder incense. Just place a small amount on top of the charcoal, use a small spoon for safety (can also be found in the shop). The resins or herbs will begin to smolder and release their essential oils through the smoke.
4. Enjoy. Every aromatic herb and resin has different properties, and can evoke different energies. Experiment and enjoy! Look to The Magick Cabinet for all your spiritual supplies.
