There are a thousand Van Van oil's out there on the market and many I ran across were cheap imitations or had fragrance oils or oils not consistent with the original recipe. Some even have vanilla and brown sugar added. Sure it may smell like a cookie but that's NOT Van Van oil!

I wanted to bring you the purest Van Van oil you could find so I made this with only pure essential oils of organic lemongrass, organic citronella, dark patchouli, wild palmarosa and organic vetiver. It doesn't get more authentic and pure than this. Don't worry, the citronella in this smells like fresh grass, not the bug spray! I'd never make anything that smelled synthetic.

It can be added, however a TRUE Van Van blend only consists of five wild African grasses. (Also called Five Grass oil.)
